Julie A Fowler Marketing Ltd is owned by marketing consultant Julie Fowler and is based in Newbury, West Berkshire.
Julie Fowler is a professional marketer and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM).
She also has a BA (hons) in Social Sciences with Sociology and an MA in Cultural and Media Studies. Her Dissertation was a textual analysis on the eponymous character Bridget Jones and was entitled: 'Bridget Jones: Through the lens of feminist theorists'.
Julie's mission is to support entrepreneurs and small businesses to help them grow, prosper and be competitive. The company provides marketing audits, marketing strategies, marketing planning, along with advice about which tactical marketing tools to use.
Julie is passionate about marketing and has a wealth of relevant business and hands-on marketing experience. For the past 15 years, she has reported to the CEO or 'rock star' of a global asset management consultancy, working within the oil and gas, petrochemicals, utilities (electricity and water), transport and facilities management industry sectors. Her responsibilities included developing and delivering strategic marketing plans, creating social media policy and delivery, e-marketing, website development and launch, creating advertising campaigns, infographics, organising product launches, event management, PR and branding.
Prior to this, Julie worked in London for headhunters within the investment banking arena, merchant bankers, commercial property developers, PR and media companies and US management consultants.
Julie loves travelling and recently visited India, East Java, Bali and Singapore. She also enjoys cooking, running, Pilates and Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan®).
She is a member of The Athena Network, Hungerford group (for female executives and entrepreneurs).
